Seemind is a tool for non-linear, associative thinking. This page explains what happens to the data you create and explore while using it. The short version: your canvases stay in your browser, accounts are optional (and only for Pro features), and no telemetry or advertising is involved.
1. Your canvas is local-first
Everything you draw, pin or connect is stored in your own browser (IndexedDB and localStorage on your device). There is no canvas database on our servers. Clearing your browser data — or using a different browser/device — removes or separates those canvases.
2. Accounts & sign-in
Signing in is optional. You only need an account to unlock and keep Seemind Pro across devices. When you sign in with Google we store the minimum needed to run your account:
- your Google account identifier and email address,
- your display name and avatar (as provided by Google),
- your plan state (free / trial / Pro) and the end of any trial period.
Sessions are kept in a secure, httpOnly cookie. You can sign out at any time from the account panel. To delete your account and its data, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove your user record.
3. Payments
Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store only your Stripe customer identifier and subscription status so we can honour your plan. See Stripe’s privacy policy for how it handles payment data.
4. Semantic data sources
Concept expansions query public semantic datasets: ConceptNet 5 (CC BY-SA 4.0) as the primary source, with an export of Princeton WordNet 3.1 as an offline fallback. Results are cached locally. We do not build profiles from the terms you explore.
5. Analytics & tracking
Seemind uses no analytics, no advertising, and no cross-site trackers. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard, short-lived request logs for security and operations.
6. Your rights & contact
